Privacy Policy

How ParentVibes handles your information — including cookies and advertising. We keep this in plain language.

Who we are

ParentVibes ('we', 'us') operates this website and services. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and services, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions can be sent to us at support@parentvibes.in.

Information we collect

Browsing the site: basic technical data such as your device type, browser, approximate region, and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).

When you create an account or join the waitlist: information you give us, such as your name, email address, and — if you choose — your mobile number, your country, and details about your parenting journey.

When you use the app's tools: information you choose to enter, for example cycle dates, appointments, medications, or your child's growth and health records. This personal health information is used only to provide the features you asked for and is never sold.

How we use your information

To provide and improve the Service, personalise the content and reminders you asked for, respond to your messages, keep the Service secure, and — where you have opted in — to send appointment, medication, test, and vaccination reminders by email or WhatsApp.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and (on some content pages) show advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

Advertising (Google AdSense and partners)

We show ads on some content pages to keep ParentVibes free. We use Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (google.com/settings/ads). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

We use manual ad placements within content only. We do not show ads on the dashboard, account, login or signup, admin, or the child-directed Kids Zone.

Affiliate links

Some product links (for example to Amazon or FirstCry) are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes the price you pay or our editorial recommendations. See our Editorial Policy for more.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as hosting, messaging, and analytics providers), when required by law, or to protect our users and the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, and we use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

Your choices and rights

You can access or update your account information, unsubscribe from reminders at any time (for WhatsApp, reply STOP), and request deletion of your account by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data; contact us to exercise them.

Children's privacy

ParentVibes is intended for parents and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Information about a child is entered by a parent or guardian to use features such as growth tracking and reminders, and is treated as sensitive personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The 'last updated' date below reflects the current version, and continued use of the Service means you accept the updated policy.
